About this template
Laid on its side, a KALLAX is close to seat height and about as deep as a window seat needs to be. What it lacks is a top you can sit on and a base that lifts it off the floor.
This plan adds both: a solid top with a small overhang, and a recessed plinth that sets the seat at a comfortable height. Check the load rating of your unit before you use it as seating.
